Dirt Behind the Day Dream

I’ve been in the studio painting up a storm for the past few months. Experimenting with acrylic paint and exploring some weird, dark areas.

The painting above “Dirt Behind the Day Dream # 1” is one result of these explorations.

I’ve opened up a new online store if you would like to purchase any of my original paintings, click the link below to check it out.

In other news, Batboy is still putting himself out there.

You can catch up on his adventures by purchasing any of these three books below! And/or follow along on my various social media accounts to see new comics as they are released.

New Designs, Same Old Feelings

GREETINGS MY PEOPLE!

I’ve added some new items to my store.

READ AND READ UNTIL YOUR EYES BLEED is a design that was inspired recently by a book that I just couldn’t put down. You know the feeling, right? Not blinking enough, eyes drying out, but you just need to get to the end of the chapter!

In other news, Batboy recently had a beach vacation, here are some shots of that:

Fun! Egg!

He also recently did some journaling:

“I’ve come to realize that the phrase “This is Bullshit” is NOT an acceptable daily mantra. Or is it?

I was on the fence for a long time regarding this idea. I wasn’t sure if I wanted Batboy to be as foul-mouthed as I am in real life. Oh well.

And lastly, I have a new project in the works, it’s going to be an all new adventure featuring Batboy and his squirrel-friend Merle. Like an adventure with an actual narrative. Like a story!

I’m thinking it will be a small run of printed comics, zine style, so stay tuned if you’d like to grab yourself a copy. They should be ready in time for the Trenton Punk Rock Flea Market Back To School Jam on September 10th in Edison, NJ, where I will be vending!

Follow along on Instagram or Twitter for more frequent updates!

I’ll leave you with some AI generated art that I made using the DALL-E mini, I give you Van Gogh Nosferatu!

Brooklyn Horror con 2021

GREETINGS, CHILDREN OF THE NIGHT!

I’m super excited to announce that I will be appearing at the first annual Brooklyn Horror Convention October 23rd & 24th 2021. You can find me somewhere in the Artist Alley. I will post more info as it becomes available.

In preparation for my first real convention appearance, I’ve been painting up a storm and having a blast!

Below you can see one of my dear friends who will be attending the convention.

In addition to my original paintings, I will have an assortment of prints and postcards. Good ol’ Pumpkinspice will be on hand to ruin your pastries and spoil your coffee drinks.

I will also have a few copies of my illustrated book on hand. Pick one up for the monster kid in your life. I’ll even sign it for you (although that might actually decrease its value.)

If you can’t wait until October, you can order a copy from Amazon, by clicking here!

I’ll be posting more in the upcoming weeks, I’ve got quite a few new artworks to share with you! Hopefully you’ll want to come peep them in person.

I might also do a few posts on the logistical prep as an artist for their first convention appearance. I’m learning a lot and hope the info could be helpful to some of you.

Until next time!

Curse of the Zombie Witch

Greetings friends!

Sorry it’s been so long since my last post. There was a lot going on recently.

For one thing, I now have an actual art space/office where I can physically put paint on canvas like this:

You can check this out over in my portfolio.

“Curse of the Zombie Witch” is the temporary title I’ve assigned to this piece. I’m open to better suggestions.

I hadn’t really planned out this post, so I will leave it there. Maybe I’ll show you my new art space in the near future.

Talk to you guys soon!
