M. R. Kessell is a writer, illustrator, and musician with a penchant for the weird and macabre.
Born and raised in New Jersey, he currently lives in New York City with his lovely wife.
He has published two books: IT CAME FROM THE BASEMENT, an original illustrated book for monster kids of all ages, and BATBOY AND THE ART OF SELF-SABOTAGE, a collection of the first fifty Batboy comic strips.
He created an illustration that went slightly viral on social media a few years back titled THE RETURN OF PUMPKINSPICE.
In between all of that he puts art tutorials, animation and music out on his YouTube channel.
He would love to collaborate with other writers, artists or any creative folks if they need:
- Book Covers
- Creature Design
- Portraits (Pets and Humans)
- Political Cartoons
- Album Art
- Spotify Canvas Animations
He absolutely can not be convinced that Puffins are real.
Loves cheesy movies despite his lactose intolerance.
Thinks he’s funny.
