This is still a work-in-progress, but I can’t resist sharing a sneak peek of my second polymer clay marionette. This is at the stage where I attached all his limbs, strung him up and tested him out with a temporary wooden controller.

Inspired after seeing the marionettes of Prague, I returned home to finish this project a few weeks later, which had been in the works for five years prior. Originally going to be papier mache, he is now finished in polymer clay.

It Came From The Basement
This Saturday, May 2nd, I will be leaving the confines of my basement studio/man cave, briefly venturing out into the sun on my way to TimeZone Gaming and Comics in Fords, NJ. It’s FREE COMIC BOOK DAY! I will be there along with a few other local artists, come on down and bring the kids!
I will be displaying some of my original weird artwork, some sculpture pieces (including the dragon) and will hopefully have some prints for sale. Come say hello and support some local artists.
